چکیده

A graph G is ramdomly H–decomposable if every family of edge disjoint subgraphs of G, each subgraph isomorphic to H , can be extended to an H–decomposition of G. Let Pk denote a path of length k. In this paper we characterize all ramdomly P3– decomposable graphs and ramdomly P4–decomposable graphs. We also characterize all ramdomly Pk–decomposable graphs of size 2k where all vertices have even degree and there are at most four vertices of degree 4.

Randomly Mt−decomposable Multigraphs and M2−equipackable Multigraphs

A graph G is called randomly H − decomposable if every maximal H − packing in G uses all edges in G. G is called H − equipackable if every maximal H − packing in G is also a maximum H − packing in G. M2 − decomposable graphs, randomly M2 − decomposable graphs and M2 − equipackable graphs have been characterized. The definitions could be generalized to multigraphs. And M2 − decomposable multigra...

Constructing vertex decomposable graphs

‎Recently‎, ‎some techniques such as adding whiskers and attaching graphs to vertices of a given graph‎, ‎have been proposed for constructing a new vertex decomposable graph‎. ‎In this paper‎, ‎we present a new method for constructing vertex decomposable graphs‎. ‎Then we use this construction to generalize the result due to Cook and Nagel‎.

Complement of Special Chordal Graphs and Vertex Decomposability

In this paper, we introduce a subclass of chordal graphs which contains $d$-trees and show that their complement are vertex decomposable and so is shellable and sequentially Cohen-Macaulay.

Vertex Decomposable Simplicial Complexes Associated to Path Graphs

Introduction Vertex decomposability of a simplicial complex is a combinatorial topological concept which is related to the algebraic properties of the Stanley-Reisner ring of the simplicial complex. This notion was first defined by Provan and Billera in 1980 for k-decomposable pure complexes which is known as vertex decomposable when . Later Bjorner and Wachs extended this concept to non-pure ...
